Your Right to Delete

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from datEQ. This page explains how to submit a data deletion request and what to expect.

What Gets Deleted

When you request data deletion, we will delete:

• Your profile information and photos
• Your questionnaire responses
• Your match history and conversations
• Your account credentials

What We May Retain

For legal compliance, fraud prevention, or safety purposes, we may retain certain information for up to 7 years, including transaction records, safety reports, and anonymized analytics data.

How to Request Deletion

Email privacy@dateeq.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include your account email address. We will process your request within 30 days.

Messages and reports

When you delete your datEQ account, your conversations close for both of you. The person you were talking with can no longer open them, and neither can you.

If a conversation was reported to our safety team, we keep a copy of the messages attached to that report so we can finish the review and keep members safe. Only the datEQ safety team can see it.

If an account is removed for breaking our community guidelines, the email address on that account cannot be used to sign up again.
